From this course I consider the best aspects of online learning to be the ability for students to explore and create their own knowledge. They have a greater amount of tools available online to do this. Because today’s students have grown up with technology it is very important that they learn online because they are familiar with it, and use itad part of their everyday lives. It provides an invaluable tool for them, with a huge amount of information available.
The ability for students to learn online and create their own knowledge means they have a deeper understanding of what they are learning, if they are creating their own knowledge and learning through interaction with others, it creates a genuine interest in the topic for them. Students are able to create different forms of presentation for assessments etc. with the use of PowerPoint and video from the Internet. The use of audio is also an important part of online learning, students can listen to audio files from the past to find out what it was really like. This is particularly useful in their study of history.

I consider these parts of online learning to be the best because of the things students are able to do, it really engages them in learning and is considered fun compared to how they may have learned in the past.
